The Circuit Party season is already in full swing! Miami's upcoming Winter Music Conference and the Winter Party Festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary may be the cold weather bound east coast's answer to beating the snow, but few events around the country draw as many hard-bodied party-goers as the White Party in Palm Springs. Jeffrey Sanker's annual desert foray will be taking place on March 29-March 31.

As usual hundreds of the dance music's greatest fans descend on the resort town of Palm Springs in California for a weekend full of frolic, foreplay and fierce beats. This year's lineup is two dollars shy of being the biggest most impressive gathering of circuit DJs ever assembled in one place. From the legendary Peter Rauhofer, to Wayne G, Manny Lehman and Paulo & Jackinsky (to name a few) this will be the most intense and extreme White Party yet!

So much so that international superstar DJ/Producer Tony Moran who will be spinning at the Palm Springs event's "Closing Party" along with Rosabel (featuring Ralphi Rosario & Abel) couldn't wait to get the party started and launched into an pre-party celebration at XL Nightclub in New York City.

Tony Keeps the Beats

EDGE caught up with the hit-maker and chatted with him about his upcoming White Party gig, as well as the changing trends in music and grilled him on a preview of his upcoming new album project.

EDGE: There’s such a great history with the White Party in Palm Springs. It continues to draw some of the best DJs, exciting new performers and hottest guys in the country. How is it different from your other DJ gigs?

TONY MORAN: Jeffrey Sanker works his ass off to continue year after year to give you options and entertainment that are not just random ideas that are slapped together.

EDGE: Would you say it’s still one of the best parties of the year?

TM: By the time the next year rolls around, White Party is on everybody’s "must do" list. Jeffrey puts his money where his mouth is --¬†leaving friends with a great experience.

EDGE: What do you have in store for White Party attendees hitting the California getaway in March?

TM: An out of body experience you won’t forget! A sensation! I’ll incorporate my music that is tribal and vocal and sexy and dramatic...increasing the testosterone levels in the room.

EDGE: You’ll be sharing the honor of spinning the big "Closing Party" with the incomparable Rosabel. How will you each work to complement each other’s sets?

TM: I just returned from Miami tag-teaming with Abel and it was great! As friends and as team players, we’re there to compliment each other. I get to stretch out and create an energy that sets up the grooves and excitement that they bring.

EDGE: You had such a rousing success with your last compilation of original music Mix Magic Music. Do you think that there will be more original tracks and star collaborations from you this year?

TM: Those new tracks (and collaborations) are almost done, and I can’t give names out yet...but they are big!

EDGE: It’s been a very interesting year in music with EDM really dominating on the scene and dance music becoming very "Top 40". Are you optimistic that dance music is getting the respect that has long eluded it in the commercial market?

TM: I hope so. I play songs that I like and I choose from what is a great variety of popular dance music, but I have to mix them -- fine-tune them in my own way to work as part of the journey I want to give on the dance floor.

If you want to be a part of that journey along with Tony Moran and Rosabel at the "Closing Night" of the "Xtreme" White Party Palm Springs then be there in March, Friday 29-Sunday 31. For ticket and travel information to this year’s White Palm Springs visit the website at
