Ryan Murphy Says the 'American Horror Story: Coven' Witches Will Return

Wednesday Dec 5, 2018

It's not over for the badass witches from "American Horror Story: Coven!"

Not long after "AHS: Apocalypse" ended last month — the crossover season between "AHS: Murder House" and "AHS: Coven" — the series' co-creator Ryan Murphy said that the witches will likely make a return to the FX franchise, Entertainment Weekly reports.

"The witches will be back," Murphy told "Entertainment Tonight" during his Hollywood Walk of Fame event. "Not next season, but we have something really fun planned."

Among the actors who play the coven are Sarah Paulson, Francis Conroy, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Bille Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Judy Collins and Stevie Nicks.

Though he's leaving FX and will begin producing shows for Netflix, Murphy remains involved with "AHS" but he didn't reveal much about Season 9.

"I can't say what it is," he said. "I'm going to this luncheon, and many of the 'Horror Story' actors are there, and I'm gonna tell them for the first time. So I have to tell them first."
