Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan is sharing the first trailer for his new horror film "Knock at the Cabin," which stars out actors Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge who play a couple in the film.

Slated to hit theaters on Feb. 3, 2023 and based on the bestselling 2018 novel "The Cabin at the End of the World" by by Paul G. Tremblay, "Knock at the Cabin" also stars Dave Bautista, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abby Quinn, Rupert Grint and Kristen Cui.

Here's how Universal Studio's describes the film: "While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost."

News about the casting of Groff, a Tony Award winner known for his roles on "Looking" and "Mindhunter," and Aldridge, who starred on "Fleabag," was reported back in March.

The upcoming movie comes after a string of hits for Shyamalan, including the 2021 beach horror film "Old," and the psychological superhero films "Split" and "Glass."
