Beth Ditto, the lead singer of the pop-punk group the Gossip, married her longtime girlfriend Kristin Ogata in Hawaii recently, according to a statement posted on the band's Facebook account Tuesday.

"At long last, now that we have returned home and recovered from all the amazingness and had some time to bask in the afterglow, we are excited to share with you a pic or two from Beth and Kristin's wedding!" the statement reads. "So much love and appreciation to all of our family and friends who celebrated with us! And a huge thank you to Jean Paul Gaultier for the dream-come-true dress!"

Ditto, 32, tied the knot on the Hawaiian island of Maui on an undisclosed date and wore a traditional white veil and knee-length dress by Gaultier. She walked barefoot down the isle with Ogata, who sported a simple white jacket, shorts and plimsolls, the British newspaper the Daily Mail reports.

"Congratulations to the newlyweds! All the best for Beth (and) Kristin! Love, JPG," Gaultier tweeted.

Last October, Ditto, born Mary Beth Patterson, announced her engagement with Ogata, her former assistant, and compared their relationship with Dan and Roseanne Conner from the 90s sitcom, "Roseanne."

"We just always kind of knew that we were always in love," she told the Advocate. "It's blissful, I think. It's really sweet and perfect. I feel like it's like so simple that it's a miracle. I feel like Dan and Roseanne."

In May 2012, she told the British newspaper the Guardian that she "was born to be married."

"I just feel comfortable there. I love the idea of being partnered forever. I love my girlfriend, we've been best friends since I was 18. There's not a thing we haven't been through except for marriage... We've had talks about what we would name our kids since we were in our 20s."

In March, Ditto made headlines after she was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after a drunken incident that took place outside a bar in Portland, Ore. The singer allegedly started a disturbance after bartenders cut her off. A witness told Reddit that she "had no idea who this girl was before I went tonight. By 1:30 Beth was completely blackout drunk challenging people to fights."

The witness added the indie rocker went in the middle of the road, "threw off her shoes and purse and screamed 'OBAMA! OBAMA!' as friends arrived to try to put her in a car.
