We love an online trend that brings people together to make our reality feel a little more gay! When a user asked Twitter what films need to be remade, exactly as they are but this time with openly queer representation, the community was ready with all kinds of plans, and we're bringing you some of our favorites.

These suggestions range from movies we watched as kids, to the films that sparked our imaginations with queer awakenings. They include classic films and modern releases, visionary plans for animated faves, and some inspiring fancams about queer ships.

The films we watched as kids and teens raised us and shaped our childhoods, but they would have raised us even better if they let themselves BE GAY.
