From 'Hacks' to Hearts: Why We're Falling for Out Actor Johnny Sibilly and his Instagram

Jake Myers READ TIME: 3 MIN.

"Hacks" is back, and it's better (and gayer) than ever!

With the first few episodes of the long-awaited Season 3 finally premiering on Max, we've sunk right back into the cozy deliciousness that is Deborah Vance, played by the iconic Jean Smart. With her cynical barbs, hilarious quips, and her heartwarming-but-complicated relationship with writer, Ava, we can't wait to see what else is in store, especially now that Deborah's back on top.

Speaking of top...as if the gays needed another reason to watch, the show is serving its fair share of eye candy, including the return of heartthrob Johnny Sibilly as Wilson, who we were unfortunately deprived of in the first two episodes (but we've heard is expected to appear later in the season).

We previously fell in love with the "water cop with a heart" as he navigated a relationship with Marcus (Deborah's CEO). Spoiler alert: Wilson ultimately ended up as a friend, after Marcus was unable to choose a relationship over his job. Wrong choice, but we're super curious where this relationship might go.

Besides "Hacks," Sibilly has racked up quite a few prominent queer roles, including in the reboot of "Queer as Folk," HBO's porn drama "The Deuce," and of course, his heartbreaking performance as the boyfriend of Prey Tell himself (Billy Porter) in the first season of "Pose." Sibilly has said that he would have no problem if he were to keep making "gay sh*t" for the rest of his career, and we're living for it!

Most recently, it was announced that Sibilly will be joining the cast of Shondaland's "Station 19," in a guest starring role for the final season. If that wasn't' enough, he's also the host of Logo's "Sip or Spill," a talk show recently nominated for a Webby Award, where guests like Trace Lysette and Joel Kim Booster have to either take a sip of booze, or spill the tea.

As an actor, producer, and LGBTQ+ and Latinx advocate, Sibilly's social following has bulked up almost as big as his pecs, and EDGE is once again here to quench your thirst with a roundup of his greatest hits.

Calling all pit-lovers! You're welcome.

And now, to melt your heart...he sings and plays guitar too??? We deem this "boyfriend material."

Did starring in "Pose" prep Sibilly to give us his best "sexy cobra?" We think so!

The ripped tank top in this close-up gives us all the feels.
