Is Lukas Gage a Make Out King? Not So, He Claims

Lukas Gage was the subject of claims that he had "[made] out with several people" at a celebration for Charli XCX's birthday. The out actor responded with a tart and funny retort.

"Over the weekend, the 29-year-old 'White Lotus' actor was one of the many stars to attend the 'Guess' singer's 32nd [birthday] party," Just Jared relayed.

"Following the party, a bartender sent in a tip to celeb gossip outlet DeuxMoi about what allegedly went down inside the party, claiming that Lukas was 'making out with several people'," JJ went on to add.

The bartender's claims included a number of other celebrities and their alleged doings, including "Kim petras [sic] is so quiet when ordering drinks in a loud bar" and "Rosalia being very Rosalia".

But what captured the imagination was the assertion that the bartender had spotted Gage "making out with several people" – in part because of the way Gage joined in on the fun, gibing back with, "Grow up, it was like 2 ppl!!"

As far as is publicly known, Gage remains single after his divorce from celebrity hairstylist Chis Appleton. The pair were wed a mere six weeks after appearing together at a red carpet event. Commenting on the short-lived union during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" last March, Gage told host Andy Cohen he's had a "manic episode" that lasted about six months. While he was tight-lipped about the details, Gage did shoot down a rumor that infidelity had been the reason for the breakup.

Gage's comment in response to the DeuxMoi post was "not the first time the 'Euphoria' actor wasn't afraid to speak up, proving that he doesn't take himself too seriously," Us Magazine noted.

That episode unfolded during COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020. Gage was on a video call in order to audition for director Tristram Shapeero, who, apparently thinking he was on mute, remarked on Gage's "tiny apartment" and the "poor people" who live in such housing conditions.

The quick-witted actor jumped in with: "I know it's a shitty apartment. Give me this job so I can get a better one."

A clip of that exchange went viral when Gage posted it.

Gage has a number of thirst-trappy posts at Instagram. Check out a few of them below:
